Northerns Cotton: NORTHERNS COTTON
A very leafy cotton, being a mixture of G. Herbaceum and G. Indicum. Grown in Kurnool and part of Cuddapah districts, India (chief centre Nandyal). It has two sub-varieties, red and white. Staple ⁷/₈-in., gins 27 per cent, spins up to 20's warp.
